Directors of largest Russian, global companies speak at RANEPA’s Summer Campus
Among the lecturers at RANEPA’s Summer Campus are Senior Vice President of The Coca Cola Company, Clyde Tuggle, CEO of Otkritie Holding Ruben Aganbegyan, CEO of PJSC Post Bank Dmitry Rudenko, and head of the International Monetary Fund representative office in Russia Gabriel Di Bella and others.
The organizers of the Summer Campus are RANEPA and the government of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of ACIG Group of Companies.
“This year we had a very strong group of international instructors. About 40 speakers came to the campus. Half of them were professors from the best global universities. There are also representatives of global businesses, who are especially coming to Kazan to give lectures to our students and conduct seminars for them. I will not disclose all of them now, but their names are very well-known,” RANEPA Vice Rector and director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) Ivan Fedotov said.
Ivan Fedotov said that RANEPA is closely working with the government of Tatarstan, all agencies actively began this work several months ago, when the topics of the campus were determined. “About ten extremely interesting case studies were sent to us, which were connected with the Republic of Tatarstan. They were connected with Innokam projects, Alabuga-2 projects and a number of cases, which were proposed by core ministries. All solutions were clear. But in circulating this theme, it is possible to get some completely unexpected proposals for resolving tasks on the scale of the republic,” he said.
During the period of the campus, its participants are put on small teams and given the task of taking apart and resolving four case studies under the direction of experienced tutors. It is expected that each case will be dedicated to a conflict in one of these fields: business, government, history, society, careers, psychology, culture and art.
During the first days of the campus, the students will be given an introductory course on the basics of conflict resolution. Lectures and interesting classes will be held by leading teachers, government officials and international business people. A cycle of creative courses on art, music and photography also await the students. There is a special place in the Summer Campus program for personal growth, the development of management skills and the formation of key values. The results of the work of Summer Campus will be summed up in public team presentations. A competent committee will evaluate the results of the work.
