RANEPA International Summer Campus program available online
The program of the International Summer Campus of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is now available on the official website. Representatives of the Academy, of Disney and Soyuzmultfilm studios, museum directors and a number of experts will speak at the event.
Along with educational activities, the Campus program includes an extensive cultural and entertainment program. Guided tours of Sviyazhsk and Kazan, games, creative contests and other events will be offered to the participating students.
On July 16, RANEPA Rector Vladimir Mau will speak before with the participants. This year’s Summer Campus will be largely devoted to the film industry. Its speakers will include representatives of Disney in Russia and the CIS. Marina Zhigalova-Ozkan, head of Disney in Russia, the CIS countries, Georgia and Mongolia, will give an overview of the company. The participants will hear all the most interesting things about world famous brands like Disney, MARVEL and Star Wars from Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Igor Makarov. Director of TV & Film Production, Vladimir Vereshchagin will talk about the characters and their stories in film-making.
Representatives of Russia’s Soyuzmultfilm will also talk about the film industry. Marketing Director Yulia Tikhomirova will report on Animated characters: the engine of marketing. Her colleague, Licensing Director Yulia Titova, will explain to the Campus how to produce a commercially successful cartoon.
This year, the Campus participants learn a lot about museums. Director for Development at the Grand Maket Rossiya Museum Yelena Tsvetkova will talk about how difficult it is to open a museum. International Summer Campus tutor Bjorn Stenvers, Executive Director of the ICOM Endowment Fund (UNESCO), will speak in detail about the museum business.
Clyde Tuggle, co-founder of Pine Island Capital Partners, Senior Vice President and Chief Public Affairs and Communications Officer of The Coca-Cola Company (2008-2017) will speak RANEPA International Summer Campus as usual. The expert's report will be devoted to Ten ways for an entrepreneur to fail.
RANEPA Professor Sam Potolicchio, the founder and president of the Preparing Global Leaders Foundation will also continue his regular participation in the Campus. The expert will again share his expertise in the field of public speaking and persuasion.
The 2018 International Summer Campus, Entrepreneurship in Culture and Entertainment, will be held from July 15 to 26, 2018, in the Republic of Tatarstan. RANEPA Summer Campus is a unique annual international educational project for young people.
