Dragos Dorobat

Born in Romania, lived in England for 9 years and in Russia for the last 4 years. Has studied International Hospitality Management at Oxford Brookes University, where he was awarded the ‘Raymond Blanc’ award for his passion for gastronomy, the ‘Bacchus Alumni’ award for his significant contribution to the social fabric of the OSHM department, and the Institute of Leadership and Management award for social entrepreneurship (OBSEA). 

Has been working for the FESS department (RANEPA) since 2015. Here, he initiated a mentoring program for the Master’s program and is organising a summer volunteering scheme in Transylvania, Romania with the Ratiu Centre for Democracy, where students have the chance to put into practice the theoretical concepts they learn at university. 

Research interests and publications are in the fields of leadership and mentoring, intercultural management, business modelling, social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in hospitality. Has been a tutor for the Ranepa Summer Campus since 2016
