The Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy: Territory of Opportunities has started
On July 18-28, 2013, the second international educational forum – Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy: Territory of Opportunities – will take place.
The mission of the Campus in 2013 is to form effective management teams among students, develop and defend projects on improvement of the system of public administration, enhance skills and competences obtained before, as well as to promote the most talented students in terms of career and society.
The program of the Campus provides for division into 3 departments:
1. State administration and development
2. Business and entrepreneurship
3. Public and social projects
The educational program of each department will include master classes, open lectures, project sessions, business games, championships and simulators.
Students of the Presidential Academy, its branches and other universities of Tatarstan, as well as participants of the All-Russian Contest of Research and Project Works “Sustainable Future of Russia” are invited to participate in the selection. Criteria for participation:
• 2-5th year bachelor or specialist students (full-time course of study) of the Presidential Academy and universities of the Republic of Tatarstan majoring in: management, marketing, economics, public and municipal management, commerce, finance and credit, taxes and taxation, international management, international relations;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher;
• no record of participation in the Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy in 2012.
Educational and leadership courses background is highly welcome.
To take part in the selection process, potential candidates should register on the website of the Campus www.campus4youth.ru and fill in the application form from March 20 to April 20, 2013.
Participants are selected in 2 stages.
Following successful registration, the candidate should enter his or her Personal web office and fill in the application form.
After the candidate’s data are checked, he or she will be admitted to the task.
Then, based on the comprehensive assessment of the questionnaires and the tasks fulfilled, the Organizing Committee will make a list of candidates who have successfully passed the first stage of the Contest selection and, thus, who are admitted to the second stage.
The second stage includes a telephone test for knowledge of English and a Skype interview.
Following the interview, the Contest Committee will make a list of candidates who successfully passed the Contest selection. These candidates will be invited to take part in the Campus of the Presidential Academy.
As a result of the contest selection, 300 finalists will be selected and allowed to take part in the Summer Campus in Tatarstan on July 18-28, 2013.
