The Summer Campus of the Presidential Academy finishes
On July 28 the closing ceremony of the Summer Campus took place, the names of the authors of the three best projects were announced and the most active students of the Presidential Academy’s educational forum were awarded.
On July 18-28 Tatarstan gathered 300 Russian and foreign students who successfully passed selection process and mastered the skills of government executives, businessmen and social entrepreneurs. Within each of the three departments the Campus organizers created individual educational tracks aimed at acquiring knowledge, shaping professional competences and training a new generation of leaders. Government officials, federal and regional ministers, Russian and foreign experts and top managers of major public and private companies delivered lectures, held business simulations and interactive games, webinars, trainings and conversations with the Campus participants in both Russian and English.
Following the 10-day educational session, the students developed projects in the field of youth policy, social entrepreneurship and business.
Honoured guests came to congratulate the students on finishing the Campus educational course: Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Kamaltynov, Vice-President of Sberbank JSC, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Director of the Department for Promotion of Innovations and Social Programs of OJSC RVC, Ivan Fedotov, Vice-Rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, representatives of the ACIG Group of Companies Viktor Tolmachev and Aleksei Shipov etc.
Yuri Kamaltynov addressed the heroes of the day with the words: "You’ve acquired the most important thing – priceless experience of communication with different people. Believe me, it is worth a lot! I am sure this Campus will mark the start of the new life for many of you. I want to believe that when the Campus is over, many of you will decide to work in the innovative region of Russia – in Tatarstan."
"Don’t be afraid, overcome your doubts and move forward!" – Viktor Tolmachev noted.
Gor Nakhapetyan wished the students to believe in dreams and try to work in a way which will change future.
Ivan Fedotov extended his gratitude to the Campus co-organizers and partners for their hearty welcome and fruitful joint efforts.
The Campus winners were awarded with diplomas and certificates. Three student works devoted to adaptation of graduates of orphanages, development of healthy way of life and tourism were announced as the "Best Projects". The first team of the Department of Business and Entrepreneurship became the Best Team. The third team of the Department of Public Administration and Development was announced as the most creative team.
The most diligent students were awarded with diplomas: Anastasia Alpatova from Saratov, Aleksandra Bodrova and Kristina Palmarchuk from St. Petersburg and Darya Karpova from Kaluga. Alongside with diplomas and presents the girls received invitations to the Foresight Fleet 2013 which starts in St.Petersburg on August 2.
After the closing ceremony the students let hundreds of balloons of different colours with their wishes fly into the sky.
