In 1991 Gor Nakhapetyan graduated from the Mathematics Department of Yerevan State University.
In 1991-1992, he completed management training courses at the American University of Armenia.
His career began in 1992 at DialogBank, where he worked as a Sales Manager and Senior Economist.
He joined Troika Dialog in 1993 and worked there in the sales department.
During his tenure, Mr. Nakhapetyan was responsible for developing a special projects incubator that subsequently became TDAM, which he headed in 1996.
In 2001-2003 Mr. Nakhapetyan participated in acquiring and restructuring OAO Rosgosstrakh. He later held the position of Vice President of OAO Rosgosstrakh, with responsibilities including overseeing the President's Apparatus and a number of divisions within the holding; he also managed the company's rebranding project.
In 2003 – 2012 as Managing Director of Troika Dialog, Mr. Nakhapetyan oversaw strategic development, and was also in charge of the following departments: the President's Office, PR, HR, the Security Department, Marketing, Contact and Information Center, Internal Communications.
January, 2013: Vice President supervising HR Block, OJSC Sberbank.
Mr. Nakhapetyan is a Member of the Coordination Council of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and the representative of Partner-Co-founder of the School, Troika Dialog.
In July 2009 he was appointed COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.
