Robin Lewis obtained his MA and PhD degrees from the Columbia University.
In 1985-2007 he served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in New York, the largest and most comprehensive professional school in its field in the US. At this post he taught and consulted numerous specialists from more than 100 countries.
Mr. Lewis successfully combined this work with other activities. He was first Executive Director of the Global Public Policy Network (GPPN), an important joint project of the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and the leading universities of London, Paris and New York. For 5 years he was the Director of the Master of International Affairs Program (MIA).
Over the past 25 years Mr. Lewis provided consulting services to governments, universities, foundations and international organizations dealing with development and implementation of professional education programs and worked in more than twenty countries of Asia, Latin America and Europe.
At the present time, he is Professor of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and Professor and Director of the Global Partnership Network of the Beijing Normal University’s School of Social Development and Public Policy (SSDPP).
